Upgrade your IKEA closet with hand-painted, self-adhesive wallpaper

Matilde wanted to give her IKEA wardrobe a unique and personal touch with flowers and butterflies from Tonka Papers that would complement her artistic home. To ensure that the wallpaper matched the existing color of the wardrobe perfectly, she sent the color code of the paint that the doors were already painted with.

The hand-painted wallpaper was painted with the base color "Grey Limit" from Notes and a beautiful top layer of iridescent mother-of-pearl, which creates a discreet but elegant play of light. The result is a Fine and subtle wall decoration that blends beautifully into the apartment, which is filled with art and design.

From idea to finished design

Before the wallpaper was produced, we created a visualisation of the design so Matilde could see how it would look on the wardrobe. We presented two colour variants: one in red shades and one in a more off-white tone. Matilde and her boyfriend chose the off-white version , which harmonises perfectly with their bedroom and creates a calm and elegant atmosphere.
